What Oui Wore : ASOS
When I lived overseas, ASOS was one of my favorite European retailers. The almost overwhelming selection, paired with trend-concious styling has made the UK-based fashion house one of my top 5 online wardrobe sources. Not to mention the wide range of sizing options: petite, tall (yay!), curvy, and maternity make ASOS the place to shop for REAL people of any size. Even their shoe selection is all-inclusive, offering wider fit and extended sizes. ASOS garments typically carry a little more "edge" than H&M/GAP, which is why I still swing by regularly when I want to rock something less conventional.
This go-round, I picked an oversized tee with my middle name, FRESH in a bold print down the front:
I was so stoked about the graphic, I ordered it immediately. Funny thing is, I didn't notice the mesh-net skirting attached to the bottom, until it arrived 2 days later. Whaaaaaaatt???!!!!! Winning.
Black hair is booring. I washed some Pravana BLUE into my "doux", smacked on some MAC Candy Yum Yum lipstick, and dragged Brian downtown to shoot my getup. The shoes? Yo.... These shoes are so incredible, they deserve a separate post of their own (which I'll do in the near future), but let me just say that if your are a hairdresser, medical professional, or a city-dweller live/working on your feet- Lawdamercy! Be prepared to see them in lots of my upcoming photos, because I cannot take them off.
There's something so sexy about seeing my husband roll around on the asphalt with a camera :-) This guy is a ninja when it comes to getting the shot. I'm thinking the next "What Oui Wore" should be about B's cargo/utility game. His gear takes a beating, but he stays fly...
Favorite SOTD (shot of the day). A little levitation photography for the editorial project we're cooking up. Check Brian's IG for more @douxlifephoto.
